How To Walk In Heels

This is right on time for me as I'm always wondering what the correct way is to walk in heels. This article breaks it down...step-by-step!

Everyone knows that heels are sexy, they make legs looks longer and more defined, but just how are we supposed to strut our stuff in those 4″ stilettos?
Learning to walk in heels is something that takes lots of practice, and it’s not something you can learn just by reading an article!

That said, here are some tips to get you started:
* Start small. If you’ve never walked in high heels before, don’t start out learning with 5 inch stilettos – that’s a recipe for pain and maybe even injury! Try something smaller, like a 2 inch heel or wedge to get used to the feeling. You can always work your way up to your most killer heels.

14 Ways To Boost Your Energy!

I don't know about you guys...but I find myself more tired than anything. By 1:00 p.m. everyday I feel as if I need a nap!

When I ran across this article it was right on time....it helped me so I thought I'd share. Do you know how many things I would accomplish if I weren't so tired?

You Don't Exercise
At least 30 minutes of a sweat-inducing workout during the day may help you sleep deeply, says Thomas E. Scammell, MD, an assistant professor of neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. His research suggests the increase in body temperature during exercise activates sleep-producing cells in the brain.
Fit in half an hour of cardiovascular exercise four days a week, says Wil Maxton, a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist in Philadelphia. Even a daily 30-minute walk in the morning or after dinner can raise your body temperature enough to improve your energy level and help you fall asleep. To give your heart a good workout, walk briskly while still being able to maintain a conversation. Keep in mind, though, that exercise also raises your metabolism, which can heighten alertness and interfere with sleep, says Dr. Scammell. Work out early in the day when possible, and if you have to exercise in the evening, wait at least three hours before going to bed.
You're an Irregular Sleeper
If you're getting up at the crack of dawn during the workweek, then sleeping in on weekends, you're disrupting your body's natural sleep schedule (or circadian rhythm). The more your patterns vary from day to day, the more tired you'll become. Stay reasonably consistent in terms of when you go to bed and wake up to avoid throwing off your internal clock, says Dr. Scammell. Otherwise, you're at risk for sleep deprivation. Research shows that an irregular wake-up time impacts daytime sleepiness more than an erratic bedtime does.
You're Taking New Pills
If you're using a new medication and your energy level has lowered, talk to your doctor about switching drugs or dosages. Over-the-counter and prescription drugs like antihistamines, antidepressants, pain medications, and beta-blockers can tire you even if drowsiness isn't a listed side effect, says Dr. Lipsky.
Your Bedroom Isn't Dark
You'll sleep best when your room is very dark, says Samir Bangalore, MD, a medicine intern at Evanston Hospital in Illinois. Make sure blinds and curtains block intense light like streetlamps. (Low-intensity illumination such as a night-light is not likely to keep you awake.) In a recent study from Northwestern University, Dr. Bangalore found that people who were awakened in the middle of the night by bright light (such as a bathroom light) and kept awake for several hours had a shift in circadian rhythm, in essence giving them jet lag. The longer the exposure, the more the body's natural clock was disturbed.
You're Dehydrated
Dehydration causes your body to conserve energy by decreasing blood circulation. This deprives your muscles of oxygenated blood and causes you to become fatigued, Dr. Lipsky says. Even mild dehydration can make you feel lethargic. Symptoms include constipation; rough, dry skin; dry tongue, lips and mucous membranes; dark, strong-smelling urine; thirst; weakness; and fatigue. Be sure to drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day. Your urine should be pale yellow, says Dr. Lipsky. If it's not, keep drinking until the color changes. Replace lost fluids during a workout by having 4 to 6 ounces of water every 15 to 20 minutes, advises Kristine Clark, PhD, RD, director of sports nutrition at Pennsylvania State University. Weigh yourself before and after you exercise, and drink 16 ounces (two cups) for every pound lost, she says.
You Slouch
Poor posture creates fatigue by causing muscles, ligaments, and joints to work harder than they do when your body is aligned correctly, says Scott Bautch, of the American Chiropractic Association. Experts estimate that looking down at a 45-degree angle uses five times more energy than holding your head in an upright position. The added strain on muscles also decreases blood (and oxygen) flow to your brain by as much as 30 percent, making you feel tired. To check your posture, draw an imaginary line from the middle of your ear through the center of your shoulder and hip. Or have someone take a photo of you from the side -- bad posture is easy to spot. Correct your slouch by strengthening back muscles. Try two sets of 20 shoulder rolls forward and backward twice a week.
You're Itchy
It's easy to ignore your itchy nose or nasal congestion. But left untreated, the annoying symptoms can cause fatigue, says Aimee Altschul, MD, a clinical allergist and immunologist in private practice at ENT and Allergy Associates and a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. "Congestion, runny nose, and other symptoms can prevent you from falling asleep or staying asleep." she says. Ease sniffles with remedies like the allergy drug Claritin, a once-a-day, nonsedating antihistamine that became available over-the-counter last December, or prescription-only daily-dose sprays such as Nasonex or Flonase. If conventional drugs don't work, visit an allergist who can help you detect what you're allergic to and how to treat it, says Dr. Altschul.
You've Got a Major Sweet Tooth
Simple sugars, found in soda, candy, cakes, and ice cream, may give you a quick boost of energy -- but not a lasting one. These foods trigger a large output of insulin, which lowers blood sugar and leaves you feeling sluggish, according to Maxton. Eat fiber-rich fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, which keep blood sugar levels steady.
You're Under Pressure
Stress causes your body to release cortisol, the "fight or flight" hormone. When released, it increases the fat and sugar in your bloodstream that your brain and muscles use for a quick burst of energy. After the anxiety has passed, your body returns to its normal state. When you're under chronic stress, however, the hormone is released continuously, says Jim Lane, PhD, an associate research professor in the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Duke University. Long-term exposure to elevated cortisol level leads to fatigue and a weakened immune system, he says. To reduce the physical impact of stress, focus on your breathing when tension starts to rise. Make sure your belly expands and your breath is coming from the lower abdomen. Inhale and exhale slowly. Deep breathing increases the oxygen in your bloodstream, which slows your heart rate, lowers your blood pressure and relaxes your muscles, thereby countering the fight-or-flight response.
You Drink Coffee or Soda
Caffeine can magnify your body's response to stress. A study in Psychosomatic Medicine found that ingesting the caffeine equivalent of two to three 8-ounce cups of coffee significantly increases stress-hormone levels and blood pressure (just one cup may raise your blood pressure for the entire day). These effects might still be present at bedtime, preventing you from getting a sound sleep. Lane suggests drinking caffeinated beverages as early in the day as possible. "It can take 10 to 12 hours to eliminate it from your system, so have caffeine before noon," he says.
You Snore
Sleep apnea, a condition caused by soft tissues in your throat that obstruct your airway, can wake you several times during the night. You may be unable to stay in REM sleep, which slows body functions, relaxes muscles, and allows you to enter the lowest state of consciousness. Symptoms include snoring, morning headaches, memory problems, and irritability, according to Christin Engelhardt, executive director of the American Sleep Apnea Association. She suggests sleeping on your side or stomach. If this doesn't help, or if these positions are uncomfortable, talk to your doctor or a sleep specialist about conducting a sleep disorders test.
You're Iron Deficient
Nearly eight million adolescent girls and women of childbearing age in the United States suffer from iron deficiency. This can cause anemia, a condition that develops when normal stores of the mineral are depleted. Signs that you may be deficient include extreme fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, confusion or loss of concentration, dizziness or fainting, pale skin, rapid heartbeat, and feeling cold, sad, or depressed. If you might be anemic -- particularly if you're prone to heavy periods or are a vegetarian -- get a blood test. Dr. Lipsky does not recommend iron supplements for healthy adult women unless they're clinically deficient or pregnant.
You're Lonely
People who feel isolated may have a harder time getting a good night's sleep, according to a study in Psychological Science. Researchers found that individuals who described themselves as lonely woke more frequently during the night than those who felt socially fulfilled. Experts aren't sure why the connection exists; still, "social interaction is one of the best ways to improve your mood and your sense of well-being," says Robert Thayer, PhD, a professor of psychology at California State University at Long Beach. If you think loneliness may be the cause of your fatigue, Thayer recommends sharing your feelings with a friend, family member, or counselor. Even a quick phone call can help you feel more connected to the people you love.
You're Depressed
Energy loss and chronic fatigue are common symptoms of depression, a condition that may be characterized by poor sleep, hormonal changes, or tension, says Dr. Lipsky. Other signs include feelings of extreme sadness, anxiety, or guilt, poor concentration, loss of appetite or overeating, an inability to sleep or to stop sleeping, and suicidal thoughts. If you've been experiencing symptoms and have been unable to sleep soundly for two weeks or more, visit your doctor. Cool Tips From Jen Fong!

I love love love Jen Fong's blog! The advice is awesome. She's direct and to the point.

Check out her article: 6 Tips to Get Better Results from Your Email Marketing
We don’t often give a lot of attention to email marketing. It isn’t flashy and cool like social networks. We don’t necessarily get immediate feedback from email like we do with our social networks and blogs. But it’s hard to ignore email marketing when business to consumer (B2C) marketers report an average of 256% ROI from the channel — pulling in $256 for every $1 invested. (MarketingSherpa 2011 Email Marketing Benchmark Report).

When was the last time you considered your email marketing program?

Of course, there’s a good way and a bad way to do email. If all you do is spam your customers and friends with ad after ad, you’ll get no results at all. That’s because people are coming to regard their inboxes as valuable real estate. They’re a lot more choosy about what they allow to fill their inboxes. But if you crack the code, and provide emails that people want to get, you can experience great results from a thoughtful email marketing program for your business.

So what makes and effective email marketing program? Here are some tips:

1.Make sure your email list is permission based. There are lots of ways to get a list of emails. Make sure yours is legal! People MUST give you permission before you’re allowed to send them marketing messages. Ask each person you sell to if they’d like to be on your list. Give people the opportunity to sign up on your blog or Facebook Page. But DON’T just add all your friends to your email list, and don’t assume that every person who hands you their business card wants your newsletter. If people haven’t opted in, your messages are considered spam, and it’s against the law for you to send them.

2.Segment your list. You may be marketing to different types of people. For example, perhaps you’re trying to reach generation Y with your opportunity, but you’re trying to reach a middle-aged mom with your products. These are two very different groups with two very different needs. Why would you send them the same email? Instead, create different lists for people to sign up for. You might offer one place where people interested in the opportunity could sign up for a “special report,” while customers could sign up for “recipes, deals, and discounts.” Each person signs themselves up for the appropriate list, and then is sent messages targeted to that group. When the message is consistently relevant to the subscriber, they’re a lot more likely to convert.

3.Keep it short and bulleted. People are busy. Most people will scan your message before deciding to read it. So how do you get their attention? Well first, make sure it’s short. People aren’t going to read a novel. Write your email newsletter, and then cut it in half. Then, highlight the most important points in bullets, and bold the main ideas of each bullet. Use a clear image to highlight each main idea. What you’re doing is making it easy to scan for the main ideas quickly. You’re a lot more likely to get people to invest in your message if they see the value in it quickly.

4.Make it valuable. Face it. People are NOT going to read a regular stream of ads. They’re just not. Their inbox real estate is too valuable for that. So include one value-driven message in each of your emails. Answer a question, provide a useful tip, etc. Give people a reason to open each email that you send, because there’s something in it that they can use right now without spending a dime, every time.

A ______ A Day, Keeps The "Shrink" Away

On of the best things I've ever done for myself was to dedicate one hour per day to improving myself. During this time I pray, I listen to self development material, I read....and I want to encourage each of you to do the same.

Studies have shown that the average human being only utilizes less than 10% of their potential in their entire lifetime. I don't know about you but 10% isn't enough! And I know that I can do much better than that.

Here's the challenge==> Turn your car into a mobile university. That's right! Instead of listening to the randomness that is morning shows, tune in to developing YOU!

Hello Stranger: Stepping Outside of Your Warm Market

Hi friends!

Today I'm going to touch on a topic that is very important in building your business. Although these things may be common sense, many aren't common practice. Let this article serve as a refresher. Whether your in direct sales or a traditional brick and mortar business, most of us began the same way- by presenting our services and products to our friends and family.

Just as a man can not survive off bread alone, your business can not survive with you remaining in your comfort zone. Our family and friends are meant to be practice as we familiarize ourselves with our the business. They've supported, encouraged/discouraged and served their purpose.

Now its time to kick it in to gear and begin focusing on taking your business to the next level. One thing I love about this company, 5LINX, is that you're in business for yourself, not by yourself! And if you're as hungry as I am, your ready to take it to the next level and we're going to do it together!

One of the most beneficial things I've learned, while practicing with my warm market, is that people don't buy products, they buy solutions. And that I'm not selling, I'm sharing! And if you understand those two concepts you will be well on your way to creating and sustaining your own momentum.

1.) People Don't Buy Products, They Buy Solutions

This highlight is two-fold, whether your acquiring business partners or customers both are seeking a solutions. To find out what the solution is for your prospect you have to do two things

I.) Ask
Wow, ladies and gentlemen do you see how simple your job is? Remember you are not a salesman. You are a consultant...you are helping someone solve an issue or a problem...you are offering a solution! And in order to find the solution you must first know the problem....in order to know the problem you must ASK questions!

What do you like most about your job?
Are you interested in multiple income sources?
Are you happy with your current service provider?

II.) Listen
Then you listen. That's why you were given two ears and one mouth! Just by asking the right questions you will begin to understand your prospects needs.

Oh, so you enjoy meeting new people? Me too! I meet new people all the time in the business I'm in...
Oh, so you wish you made more money? I felt the same way before I got into the business I'm in....I think I can help you with that

2.) I'm not selling, I'm sharing!

That's right ladies and gentlemen! Contrary to your belief, you are not in business to sell. You're in business to share and serve. The primary function of all profitable businesses, regardless of industry, is to fulfill a need. And once you wrap your mind around the fact that you're sharing and not selling you will go so much further in endeavors!

Check out this video on communication dynamics, learn how to effectively communicate with prospects on their level by learning their behavior styles.

Unlock Your Greatness - Tip #3

We are now at Tip #3 in our series "Unlock Your Greatness"

And this tip is one that is near and dear to my heart.....

Begin Your Own Personal Empowerment Regimen

This is so important ladies and gentlemen. Who do you call when your feeling down? Need advice? Or need a pick me up?

As important as it is to have a solid circle, it is even more important to be a solid individual. And creating your own Personal Empowerment Regimen enables you begin and sustain your self development. You don't want to always be the friend with issues and problems. Lets begin solving some of those issues and problems independently. Your never too old to learn and your never to young to teach! When I discovered this method it literally transformed my life. I can't go a day with out my "Me Time"!

In this regimen consistency is pertinent. You don't want to do it only when something goes wrong. Find the time of day that is best for you. I am a morning person, so my "Me Time" is in the morning, at least one hour. During this time I pray, read a book and listen to my favorite speakers.

If your not a morning person, take away some of your "Ear Bubblegum Time" during the day.... Confused?? Lets break it down....Bubblegum is classified as a food, but it doesn't fill you up or nourish your body. Your ears are one of the most important gateways to your mind. With our ears we hear an abundance of things. Of those things, the things that don't nourish our minds or enhance our lives are synonymous to bubblegum (i.e. watching tv, listening to the radio, surfing the net).

Lets take some time from those things and add it to your "Me Time". If your addicted to the Bubblegum Moments- ween yourself off slowly until you get one hour per day to dedicate to your Personal Empowerment.

Listen to one of my favorite speakers, Les Brown:

::| Building A Better YOU |::

A major part of building a better you and unlocking your greatness is being financially literate. I know many self-help sites or similar genres primarily focus on the mental and spiritual aspects of your health, but being financially competent is just as important as exercising daily!

One of the worst things I've seen is for someone to be prepared in every aspect of their life - be presented with an awesome opportunity (i.e. Job, ) and be disqualified due to having poor financial health (i.e.Bad Credit, No Credit, etc.).

Did you know that you could receive your credit report annually for free? Yes you can!

Here some tips and tidbits on building your credit from scratch!

9 Ways To Build A Killer Credit Score
By Liz Pulliam Weston
Establishing a good credit history has never been as important as it is today.
It's not just that you'll need good credit to get decent rates when you're ready to buy a home or a car. Your credit history can determine whether you get a good job, a decent apartment, a deal on your cell phone and reasonable rates on insurance. One seemingly minor misstep -- a late payment, maxing out your credit cards -- can haunt you for years.
If you're just starting out, you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a credit history the right way. Here's what to do and what to avoid.

Check your credit report

You'll first want to see what, if anything, lenders are saying about you. That kind of information is contained in your credit report at each of the three major bureaus: Equifax,Experian and Trans Union. You're entitled to a free annual look at your reports from AnnualCreditReport.com.
Credit reports are used to create your credit scores, the three-digit numbers that lenders typically use to gauge your creditworthiness. Lenders also may look at the reports themselves, as may the landlords, employers, insurers and utility companies who use credit to evaluate applicants.
Can you have a credit report if you've never had credit? Maybe.
Somebody else's information could be mixed in with your report, either through a credit bureau mistake or because of identity theft; i.e. someone using your personal information to open bogus accounts.
If that's happened to you, you'll need to clean up your credit report before trying to apply for new accounts. The Federal Trade Commission's identity-theft site has information that can help.

Establish checking and savings accounts

Here's a basic step that's sometimes overlooked by people seeking credit. Lenders see bank accounts as signs of stability.
Opening checking and savings accounts is also one of the few things you can do as a minor to start building a financial history. While you can't get a credit card in your own name until you're 18 and can be legally held to a contract, many banks have no problem letting you open an account.
If your bank balks, look around for another bank or consider opening a joint account with an adult.

Understand the basics of credit scoring

You need to know that the two most important factors in your scores are:
  • Whether you pay your bills on time.
  • How much of your available credit you actually use.
It's essential that you pay all your bills on time, all the time. Set up automatic payments or reminder systems so that you're never, ever late. All it takes is a single missed payment to trash your credit scores -- and it can take seven years for the effects to completely disappear.
You also don't want to max out any of your credit cards, or even get close. Keeping your credit use to less than 30% of your credit limits (10% is better) will help you get the best possible credit scores -- and should help keep you from getting over your head in debt, as well.
Finally, you don't need to carry a balance on a credit card to have good credit scores. Paying your bill in full each month is the best way to keep your finances in shape and build your credit at the same time.

Piggyback on someone else's good credit

The fastest way to establish a credit history can be to "borrow" another's record, either by being added to a credit card as a joint account holder or by getting someone to co-sign a loan for you.
Having a co-signer can allow you to qualify for loans you might not otherwise get. The loan will show up on your credit report and, if you pay it off responsibly, will help boost your credit scores.
If you default, however, you won't be the only one who suffers. The co-signer has basically promised to make good on this account, so any delinquencies will show up on her credit report as well.
Being added as a joint account holder also has its risks, for you as well as the person giving you access to the card.
If your father adds you to his credit card, for example, his history with that account can be imported to your credit bureau file, giving you an instant credit record. If he has handled the account well, that reflects well on you. But if he hasn't, his mistakes would also become yours. You become responsible for any debt on the card, and it's difficult to get your name removed. Any late payments or other problems could make it harder for you to get future credit than if you'd established your history without help.
Being added as an authorized user to a credit card will no longer help you build a credit history. After credit-repair companies took advantage of the system and lenders protested, score-keeping companies are ignoring authorized-user information.

Apply for credit while you're a college student

Credit experts used to warn college students away from those booths set up on campus by credit card lenders -- the ones that promise free stuff for signing up. It turns out, however, that there's no easier time to get a card than while you're a college student, said Gerri Detweiler, author of "The Ultimate Credit Handbook."
Lenders are willing to take risks with you that they won't once you graduate, probably because they know that your parents' willingness to bail you out will end once you get your sheepskin.
You still have to exercise some caution, though. Look for a card with a low or nonexistent annual fee and low interest rates. For now, just get one: Opening a slew of credit accounts in a short period of time can make you look like a risky customer. Later, you'll want more than one card.

Apply for a secured credit card

If you can't get a regular credit card, apply for the secured version. These require you to deposit money with a lender; your credit limit is usually equal to the deposit.
Screen your card issuer carefully. To be frank, there are a lot of bad guys in this particular niche of the credit world. Some charge outrageous application or annual fees and punitively high interest rates.
Your credit union, if you have one, is a good place to look for a secured card. You can also check Credit.comCardTrak.com or Bankrate.com'slist of secured credit card issuers.
Ideally, the card you pick would:
  • Have no application fee and a low annual fee
  • Convert to a regular, unsecured credit card after 12 to 18 months of on-time payments
  • Be reported to all three credit bureaus.
If the issuer doesn't report to the credit bureaus, the card won't help build your credit history.

Get a store card

Gas companies and department stores that issue charge cards typically use finance companies, rather than major banks, to handle the transactions. These cards don't do as much for your credit scores as a bank card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.), but they're usually easier to get.
Again, don't go overboard. One or two of these cards is enough.

Get an installment loan

To get the best credit scores, you need a mix of different credit types, including revolving accounts (credit cards, lines of credit) and installment accounts (auto loans, personal loans, mortgages).
Once you've had and used plastic responsibly for a year or so, consider applying for a small installment loan from your credit union or bank. Keeping the duration short -- no more than a year or two -- will help you build credit while limiting the amount of interest you pay.

Use revolving accounts lightly but regularly

For credit scores to be generated, you have to have had credit for at least six months, with at least one of your accounts updated in the past six months.
Using your cards regularly should ensure that your report is updated regularly. It also will keep the lender interested in you as a customer. If you get a credit card and never use it, the issuer could cancel the account.
Just remember the credit tips I mentioned earlier:
  • Don't charge more than 30% of the card's limit.
  • Don't charge more than you can pay off in a month. You don't have to pay interest on a credit card to get good credit scores. It's much smarter to pay off your credit cards in full each month.
  • Make sure you pay the bill, and all your other bills, on time.

::| Self Talk |::

Hi friends!

Today, I'm going to share with you one of the most amazing tools that I use to prepare my mind for success. I know some of you are like- "Why do you prepare your mind for success?". And the answer is two-fold.

1.) Your best thinking got you into your current state of existence.
2.) You can only go as far as your mind can comprehend.

Which means we need to expand our minds and condition them to achieve and maintain our new goals.

Positive affirmations are one of the most powerful tools you can incorporate into your daily life. After all, my favorite book says:

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue" Proverbs 18:21

Think of how many times you told yourself that you couldn't, consequently, you didn't. As hard as it maybe, I challenge you to take the word "can't" out of your vocabulary and replace it with "How Can I"....

EXAMPLE:
"I can't run a marathon." (negative)
"How can I run a marathon?" (positive)

Remember, you are created to win, so the instant you begin to focus on something, your mind begins to subconsciously work toward it. Therefore, if you choose to focus on the negative, the "I can'ts, I won'ts, etc" your mind starts working on proving you right.

If you choose to use the positive example "How can I", your mind starts thinking of ways for you to succeed and achieve your goal. Your mind might begin to cultivate thoughts like "Maybe if I start jogging in the morning..." or "maybe if I change my diet.." or "maybe if I connect with some people that have done this already" -

Remember that your mind is the most powerful tool you have and if you begin to plant positive seeds, you will achieve positive things!

Listen to the audio above and do the exercise from one of the greatest motivational speakers==> Zig Ziglar.

Zig Ziglar's Talk to Yourself Exercise
Step #1-Get a cassette recorder and in the first-person, present tense, record with passion and enthusiasm paragraphs A, B, C and D. For thirty days listen to this recording first thing in the morning and last thing at night. If no recorder is available, stand up straight in front of a mirror, square your shoulders, look yourself in the eye and read outloud paragraphs A, B, C. D.

A. "I, ___________________, am an honest, intelligent, organized, responsible, committed, teachable person who is sober, loyal, and clearly understands that regardless of who signs my paycheck I am self-employed. I am an optimistic, punctual, enthusiastic, goal-setting, smart working, self starter who is disciplined, focused, dependable, persistent, positive thinker. I am an energetic team player who appreciates the opportunity my company and the free enterprise system offers me. I am thrifty with the company's resources and apply common sense to my daily tasks. I take honest pride in my competence and appearance and am motivated to be and do my best so that my healthy self-image will remain on solid ground. These are the qualities which enable me to manage myself and help give me employment security in a no-job-security world.

B. I, ___________________, am a compassionate, respectful, encourager who is a considerate, generous, gentle, patient, caring, sensitive, personable, attentive, fun-loving person. I am supportive, giving and forgiving, clean, kind, unselfish, affectionate, loving, family-oriented human being and I am sincere and open-minded good listener and good finder who is trustworthy. These are the qualities which enable me to build good relationships with my associates, neighbors, mate and family.

C. "I am a person of integrity , with the faith and wisdom to know what I should do and the courage and convictions to follow through. I have the vision to manage myself and to lead others. I am authoritative, confident, and humbly grateful for the opportunity life offers me. I am fair, flexible, resourceful, creative, knowledgeable, decisive and an extra-miler with a servant's attitude who communcicates well with others. I am a consistent, pragmatic teacher with character and a finely-tuned sense of humor. I am an honorable person and am balanced in my personal, family and business life, have a passion for being, doing and learning more today so I can be and do more tomorrow.

D. "These are the qualities of the winner I was born to be and I am fully committed to developing these marvelous qualities with which I have been entrusted. Tonight I'm going to sleep wonderfully well. I will dream powerful, positive dreams. I will awaken energized and refreshed; tomorrow's going to be magnificent and my future is unlimited. Recognizing, claiming and developing these qualities which I already have gives me a legitimate chance to be happier, healthier, more prosperous, more secure, have more friends, greater peace of mind, better family relationships and legitimate hope that the future will be even better."

Repeat the process the next morning and close by saying, "These are the qualities of the winner I was born to be and I will develop and use these qualities to achieve my worthy objectives. Today is a brand-new day and it's mine to use in marvelously productive way."

After 30 days, add the next step:

Choose your strongest quality and the one you feel needs the most work. Example: Strongest-honest. needs mote work-organized. On a separate 3x5 card, print "I, _____________, am a completely honest person and every day I am getting better and better organized." Keep this 3/x5 card handy and read it out loud if possible at every opportunity for one week. Repeat the process with the second strongest quality and the second one which needs the most work. Do this until you've completed the entire list. Periodically look yourself in the eye as you read this card or listen to the recording. After thirty days of the following this procedure, re-record the message on the card. You will be stunned at the change in your voice which will reflect the changes in your life. Use this self-talk procedure as long as you want to get more of the things money will buy and all the things money won't buy.

NOTE: Because of some painful experience in the past (betrayal, abuse, etc.), there might be a word or two which brings back unpleasant memories (example: discipline). Eliminate the word or substitute another word.

::| Unlock Your Greatness - Tip #2 |::

Hi Friends!

We're 5 days into the New Year....How are you doing with your resolution? Are you still enthused, energetic and dedicated?

If you are...AWESOME! If not, your normal. Most people begin to slowly lose momentum from now until the 15th of January. By the 15th most resolutions have been aborted. But that doesn't have to be you. Matter-of-fact, It's not going to be you because I'm going to give you Tip #2 to Unlock Your Greatness.

Re-visit Your Goal....Daily

Basically, since you've already written your goal out, your half way there. It is said that repetition is the best teacher. And that is believed because humans are creatures of habit. Every behavior is a learned behavior. So by constantly repeating or reminding your mind of your goal- that goal will eventually become embedded in your mind. And your mind will begin to subconsciously work toward it.

sub·con·scious (sb-knshs)
adj.
Not wholly conscious; partially or imperfectly conscious: subconscious perceptions.
n.
The part of the mind below the level of conscious perception. Often used with the
.

Believe it or not, you were made to win! You were created to succeed. Your mind subcountiously works toward the things you think of the most. Have you ever heard the saying "You are what you eat"? Well actually, you are and you possess what you think of the most! Some of your best thinking got you to where you are today. Now whether that is a good or bad place, you did it!

Maybe the reason you haven't achieved your goal yet is because you haven't focused on it enough. My favorite book says:

"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." - Proverbs 23:7

What are you? And what have you been telling you, about yourself? Whatever it is, you can change it! By changing the way you think. After all, you weren't born with that mentality. You were taught it. So now, you can learn a better way to think. And it begins with your written goals and aspirations.
"If they think they can, they will." -Virgil
